DAY 1

08:00 REGISTRATION

08:15 Introduction

08:30 Pre-operative Installation, Workstation ergonomics, preparation of nasal fossa.

09:00 Functional anatomy and physiology: application of new embryological and physiological data. How does it work ?

09:30 DISSECTION ON ARTIFICAL HEAD

13:00 Lunch (on site)

14:15 Surgical anatomy of the sino-nasal cavities: Landmarks, limits, and how do I recognize a difficult case?

15:15 Material, instruments used for sinus surgery: microdebridor, neuronavigation, sinus ballon, Propel motor, handpieces.

15:45 Coffee Break

16:00 Post-operative cares and normal evolution

16:30 Video surgeries and clinical cases: Live discussion and comments.

17:30 End of day.

 

DAY 2

08h30 ANATOMIC DISSECTION ON ANATOMICAL SUBJECT

For middle antrostomy to complete ethmoïdectomy and sphenoidectomy with live demonstration and framing.

13:00 Lunch (on site)

14:00 Radical ethmoidectomy: landmarks, pre-operative check-list, technics, indications & results.

14:30 ANATOMIC DISSECTION ON ANATOMICAL SUBJECT For frontal sinus, anterior and middle skull basewith live demonstration and framing

16:30 Coffee Break

16:45 ANATOMIC DISSECTION ON ANATOMICAL SUBJECT For frontal sinus, anterior and middle skull basewith live demonstration and framing

DAY 3

08:30 LIVE SURGERIES

Radical ethmoidectomy, sinus balloon, sphenoidectomie, mucocele, inverted papilloma, Dacryocystorhinostomy

13:30 Lunch (on site)

14:30 Workshop :  Different manner to treat nasal polyposis: up-grade your knowledge.

16:00 End of day.

 

DAY 4

08:30 Clinical cases and video surgeries for sphenoid sinus

09:30 Inverted papilloma by endoscopic approach: technics, limits and results.

10:30 Coffee Break

11:00 Mucocele: objectives, technics and advantages between endoscopic and external approaches.

11:30 CSF Leak diagnosis and treatments.

12:30 Lunch (on site)

14:00 Post-surgery cares and management of complications dedicated to skull base.

15:00 Management of orbital and haemorrhage complications
